Damon Allen - SierraSil® keeps football legend in the game

During his 23 CFL seasons, Damon Allen amassed 72,381 passing yards and another 11,914 along the ground, both CFL records for a quarterback. The 45-year-old is a four-time Grey Cup MVP, and in 2005 was named the league’s outstanding player after passing for a career-high 5,082 yards. He captured his first MVP award after leading the Edmonton Eskimos to Grey Cup victory in 1987. Allen played with the Ottawa Rough Riders in the early 1990s, won his second Grey Cup with Edmonton in 1993, played for Memphis in 1995, then joined the BC Lions in 1996, winning a Grey Cup with them in 2000. In 2003 he was traded to the Toronto Argonauts and in 2004 led the Argos to their fifteenth Grey Cup Championship. Allen announced his retirement from football in 2008, but keeps busy with corporate speaking engagements, working for the Argonaut corporation and organizing his thrilling Quarterback Challenge where Allen and 11 other CFL quarterback greats compete against each other to raise funds for children’s charities.

The game of football is a violent sport and sore muscles, aches and pains come from playing a hard-fought game. I played in the CFL for 23 years as quarterback, so I know about aches and pains. After turning 40, I found that it took me longer to recover after a game than in the past. In 2007, I started taking SierraSil® Joint Formula and using the Topical Spray for Pain Relief and after about a week I noticed that my soreness and back pain were subsiding. When I told my teammates, they started taking the product from my locker—they really liked it. I still use SierraSil® and my body feels great! Damon Allen
